Medical Protection is NOT for those approaching their senior years; Medical Insurance should be considered at a young AGE

Medical Insurance will ensure you received the required treatment. Most importantly it protects your property, savings, and medical bills and frees you from fears of burdening any family or friends.

As health care expenses rising everyday in Malaysia, I often find many people according to frequent survey's done in Hospitals are not covered by a medical Insurance. However as many of them worry about rising cost of prescription drugs, consultations, hospital stays and X-Rays, but yet adhere to the style of "wait and see attitude"

I have encountered this with numerous of my own friends, when I ask them do you have an insurance? Their typical answer is NO, "I am planning to sign up for one soon" But when? Then my typical answer would be, could I indulge you more from protection/medical? They go on... Sure, I'll let you know when, or probably soon. This group of people typically dispute the need for medical protection, yet they spend more time researching on a personal loan, home loan or purchasing a car than making critical decisions about Medical Protection.
We conducted Insurance awareness booth in IJN (Institute Jantung Negara). Our Great Eastern booth stood there for 5 whole days. 85% of people/ visitors/ patients we approached are going through live without Medical Insurance whereby risking their financial standing should anything health risks were to happen.

Malaysia Public Health Institute study showed at least 81% of elderly suffered from chronic ailment.
Today, CANCER is like SIX DEGREE OF SEPARATION whereby everyone is just six steps away from knowing "a friend of a friend" has CANCER.
Medical Insurance is NOT for those approaching their senior years. Remember " EVERYONE NEED MEDICAL INSURANCE"

There are certain group of people believe medical insurance is not necessary because the organization provide one for them. This coverages offered by companies are limited and plans are routinely discontinued when they leave the organization.
